The Mission of the Monte Rio Chamber of Commerce is to encourage and promote a healthy local economy
by facilitating positive collaboration among businesses, community organizations and residents.

HOW WE BEGAN

Formed in 1920 as the Monte Rio Volunteer Fire Department and Improvement Association, we were incorporated in 1931 as the Monte Rio Chamber of Commerce.

WHAT WE DO

We are the keepers of the Vacation Wonderland sign and the sign board at the triangle. (Hwy 116 and Bohemian Hwy) We sponsor the Annual Holiday Food Basket Program at the Monte Rio School. We are proud of our role in helping strengthen the bonds of our community and work together with our partners, local businesses and other community organizations to help make Monte Rio a wonderful place to live, work and play.
